The human outlooks on life have always been committed to prototypes and clichés, of course, some of them like ‘Be the change that you want to see in the world’, are meaningful and out of question, but others like ‘The sportsmen are stupid, their brain capacity is limited and any efford for intellectual work is doomed to fail’ are totally arguable and not fear.
No doubts, it is easy to jump into the ideology for the athletes-idiots, but firstly we need to consider that most of the professional sportsmen studied in schools which are oriented to develop physical and sports skills, not on academia. Secondly, they grew up hanging around camps and races with teammates and competitors. Thirdly, Messi, Ronaldo, LeBron James, Federer are respected and loved not because of their IQ, but because their names stand out among the best players in the history and finally their dedication to the profession does not mean that the chance of progressing in typically intellectual fields such as medicine, law, politics, art and business should be eliminated in embryo. In this article are chosen few notable figures who were promising sportspersons, but developed successful careers in different areas.

The policies of the Turkish president are dangerous, scandalous and sometimes not democratic, but his folks transform the national Constitution in order to keep him as a ruler of the state. Before occupying the presidency, he served as a prime minister and mayor of Istanbul.
In his youth, Erdoğan played semi-professional football at a local club called Kasımpaşa S.K. One of the giants of the Turkish football Fenerbahçe was flattered to transfer him, but Erdogan’s father prevented the deal. Nowadays, the stadium of the team where he played is named after him.

After his retirement, Bing founded multi-million dollar steel company in Detroit named The Bing Group which made him one of the most successful African-American businessmen in the world. The final achievement of this prominent man came in 2009 when he was elected as mayor of Detroit in the most difficult for the city time.
He served as the President of the United States from 1953 to1961, five star general from the US army and first supreme commander of NATO. Certainly, Eisenhower is one of the most important people in the modern history of the world and his decisions had a great impact on the world, but he probably would not be this prominent military and politician if were not the series of knee injuries that stopped his promising career as a football player at West Point.
